Abu Dhabi to Host Industrialists Career Exhibition

The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology announced the launch of the third annual exhibition "Career of Industrialists", aimed at creating and facilitating vacancies in the industrial and advanced technology sectors. The event will take place from October 28 to 30 in Abu Dhabi, building on the successes of two previous exhibitions, which created over 1,400 specialized job opportunities for Emirati specialists, including 150 positions for individuals with limited capabilities.

His Highness recently emphasized the importance of integrating highly qualified Emirati specialists into the industrial sector to enhance their role in the national economy. The goal of the exhibition is to unite governmental structures, private companies, educational institutions, and associations, providing job and training opportunities relevant to the needs of the production and skills development sectors, thereby accelerating employment for Emirati specialists.

This third exhibition will offer diverse job opportunities, including work in the field, in the office, and hybrid roles. This new initiative is focused on developing specialized professional skills in five key sectors, including industry and advanced technologies.

The exhibition "Career of Industrialists" represents a joint national effort between the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, the Competitiveness Council of Emirati Specialists (Nafis), and the ADNOC Group within the framework of the National Program for Creating Added Value.

Last year, during two specialized days in Ras al-Khaimah, over 200 job positions were created, contributing to a total of more than 1,600 positions since the exhibition began in October of last year, significantly increasing the employment of Emiratis in the private sector.

This time, the third exhibition will offer more than 900 new job positions, including over 100 positions specifically for individuals with limited capabilities, across 93 participating companies in nine key sectors.

At the first exhibition, job and training opportunities for women service members from the "Hama" program, launched by the Office for the Development of the Government and Future Partnerships with the National Service and Reserve Authority, will also be presented.

Thousands of young Emiratis visited the exhibitions to explore opportunities. To enhance awareness, the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology organized master classes for producers and associations, taking place from August 15 to September 15 and from September 15 to October 15, respectively.

To participate in the exhibition, registration is possible. At the first exhibition, a system of instant selection through a specialized application will be used to match candidates with available vacancies, applying the latest technologies.

Regarding job placements, confirmed in previous exhibitions, the ministry collaborates with partners to launch specialized training programs in critical sectors such as oil and gas.
